Driekoningenstraat

The redevelopment of the Driekoningenstraat-Statiestraat was designed and carried out by LandLab in partnership with Stramien. The most striking changes were the choice of a one-way street, zone 30, the use of natural stone and the floor fountain on the Frans Jochemsplein. Upon winning the Public Space Award in 2012, the jury praised the district for it's drastic choice for new traffic circulation and the direct involvement of local residents and storeowners. The design increasted the hospitality of the street and revitalized the surrounding neighborhood.
